This post features another old character of mine (two, even!) brought back, updated, and refreshed -- Prince Hassan and Lusala, his bodyguard from the story The Defiant Prince.
This set takes places shortly after that tale, where King Asad Fatih has given his blessing for Hassan to wrestle. With Sahib attending kingly duties at the time, it falls on Lusala to teach his prince a few new moves... and more.

The Defiant Prince: Part 3 of 3
(Click here to go back to Part 2.)
Hassan Fatih, prince of the kingdom of Al Fatih, left his home having rescinded his princedom to protect Lusala and Sahib, his personal bodyguards, from exile. The gods blessed the young prince that day as he journeyed into the vast, unending desert; the skies above were smattered with clouds that helped protect him from the sun's harsh rays as he made his way southward.
"Africa," Hassan spoke to Zubair, the solid white stallion that was faithfully carrying him into the arid wilderness. "That'll be our new home, boy. Lusala told me all about how everything is green and there are all kinds of beasts like the ones Father's seen!"
Hassan suddenly felt a lump in his throat as he thought of his last moments with his father, Asad Fatih. Their final words had been born out of years of anger, resentment, and sorrow. But he couldn't go back to mend those wounds this time. He refused to even consider the possibility that his father had changed his views and would welcome him back home. He pushed those thoughts from his head and urged Zubair onward. That part of his life was over and now he would live his life free from the chains of princedom.
Though the clouds brought him protection, the prince began to feel the effects of a lack of water. In his haste to leave the kingdom, he neglected to bring provisions in the hope that his quest would be over quickly. The heat of the day quickly sapped his already tired body. He leaned on Zubair and draped his arms across the stallion's thick neck. As though knowing what was happening to his master, the horse sped onward, his eyes looking around for any sign of life among the dry sands.
Hassan drifted in and out of consciousness. He hid his face in Zubair's white mane as his mouth and lips began to dry out. Before he finally passed out, the last thought that flowed into his mind were of Lusala and Sahib and if he would ever see them again.

Hassan's Persistence
Before I move on to a couple of other short stories (which are meant to be a refresher before I start on Part 3 of The Defiant Prince,) I wanted to post a little sequel to The Palace Guards. It also serves as a small prequel to Part 1! The story begins right after this.

The Defiant Prince: Part 2 of 3
(Click here to go back to Part 1.)
Later that day...
Prince Hassan could barely keep from fidgeting all that morning. The wrestling spar he'd witnessed between his two personal bodyguards, Lusala and Sahib, kept blissfully replaying in his mind over and over.
At breakfast, he could hardly eat. During history lesson, he couldn't hope to focus. And whenever either Sahib or Lusala looked his way, he'd giggle like a fool and turn quickly to hide the growing erection that pushed the fabric of his loincloth aside.

It's Crunch Time!
Whew... I've been going at a superhero's speed with these renders the past few days. I have the story component of Part 2 completely done and now I'm going into overdrive with the illustration half.
I'm keeping myself to a deadline of getting this up by 11:59 PM on Sunday, so I'm committed to making that happen.
It's crunch time! *roar!*

The Palace Bath
It was a bit late in the day when I was working on the palace bath, where a scene near the end of the second part of The Defiant Prince takes place and I had my camera angled at this exact spot. It looked like a really nice shot, so I figured I'd render it. But upon closer examination, I noticed that it was missing one crucial component: naked prince butt.
So naked prince butt was added and the gods of muscle were pleased.
I swear, this is what mainstream cologne ads will look like at some point in the future. Or maybe ads for vacations in the Middle East. Excuse me while I book my flight...

The Palace Guards
The palace of King Asad Fatih is protected by The Ruby Guard, a fiercely-loyal and highly-trained group of men dedicated to the protection and sovereignty of the royal family and the people of the neighboring city.
In a sign of their fealty, each new member kneels before the king and allows him to shave their heads clean. With their induction to the Guard complete, they're given official loincloths to wear with pride over their beefy hips.
Unfortunately for the new guys, Prince Hassan is always looming nearby... always watching and waiting for his chance to pounce.

The Defiant Prince: Part 1 of 3
The first part of The Defiant Prince is finally finished and ready for posting! My apologies for taking so long with this one. Both the graphics and the story caused me to stumble more than a few times and I had to delay the project for way longer than I intended. Well, the hard part's over and now... comes the hard part! Get it? Heheheh...
This first part features Hassan, Lusala, and Sahib, with other characters such as King Fatih not appearing until next time.
Here it is! I hope that you guys enjoy The Defiant Prince: Part One.

On The Balcony
I put construction of the palace aside for the moment to focus on the place that begins the story: Hassan's bedroom!
This is Prince Hassan without his headgear or loincloth. His hair is black, like his father (who I'll reveal later on). He likes to keep it hidden and away from his skin in the harsh sunlight.
He's standing at the edge of the high balcony, gazing at the sand dunes of the vast, desert kingdom. The sun has just risen, so the lighting in the scene is very muted. And since it's morning, the prince is currently suffering from a certain hardness that many men frequently experience right after waking up...
What he spies from that balcony certainly won't help his erection to go down. Well, not without a big, creamy mess, anyhow!
There's a bit more work to be done on this scene and anything might change by the time it's finally done, but I wanted to give you guys a peek at what I'm up to with the story.
Have a great rest of the weekend,
-Lucky Stallion

Prince Hassan Version 3 Test
Hey, everyone!
I was playing around in the studio earlier tonight when I had a sudden itch to do a third update to my character, Prince Hassan. I think I can blame Alex and his latest Route 69 story for this Arabian urging. *grins*
Prince Hassan was originally rendered with LuxRender, way back in early December of last year. Outside of some work here and there, I've since not really bothered with Lux anymore. It just takes far too long on my machine and it doesn't give me the saturation that I desire.
I'm thinking of making my next story about this studly desert-dwelling royal (whose original backstory can be found here). This one would likely take me a while longer than some of my recent stories, as I have a few different locations in my head of where I would place Hassan. Plus, I'd need the extra time to create the characters he would interact with and the locations themselves would need setting up...
But if it does end up taking me too long, I'll likely put it on hold periodically to work on shorter fights and the like to post in between. I've done that before -- it totally helps break the feeling of being bogged down by one project.
Arrrgh. I'm beginning to ramble. That's my cue to get going! Take it easy, guys.

P.S. -- That butt. Damn, that butt...

Prince Hassan
Hassan was one of many princes of King Fatih, a powerful and wealthy Arabian ruler. Ever since his youth, the prince had appreciated the art and beauty of physical combat between the men of his kingdom. As he grew into manhood, strong and packed with rock-hard muscle, Hassan began enjoying frequent wrestling matches with the royal palace guards. The guards, eager to teach their prince self-defense and lusting after his body, were only happy to oblige his requests.
King Fatih always despised such crude and unprincely behavior. He viewed wrestling and other close-contact fighting as barbaric -- something only savages without a sword would gladly resort to. He chastised his men for indulging his son's foolish desires and forbade him to ever behave in such a way again.
But the spirit of fighting wouldn't leave Hassan so easily. And rather than disobey his father's wishes, the prince decided that it was better to leave.
By the dark of night and with the help of his two favorite guards, the mighty prince fled the only home he'd ever known. His white stallion, Zubair, by his side, Hassan will begin his adventures, traveling the lands, eager to engage with the commoners of the outside world. It is through them that he will stoke the fiery heat that only wrestling can provide.
I also created a more family-friendly version (but still a bit provocative, maybe?) of Hassan. You can find that version of him at the CafePress shop!
