Happy Canada Day + Independence Day!

Independence Day is almost here in the States, and I wanted to make a little holiday render of two studs celebrating their countries' holidays.  I'm currently at work on a set of superhero poses for DAZ/Poser for sale in my other store.  I've gotten 25 out of an estimated 50 done so far, but I wanted to take a short break to do this for the blog.

Love Under Moonlight

Still suffering from the effects of the pink gas sprayed at them by bank robbers earlier that night, Batman and Superman steal a moment away from the other members of the JLA.  The robbers' tactics had proved a success, causing the two superstuds' trunks to tent lewdly.  Agonized by their rock-hard manhoods and embarrassed beyond comprehension, the heroes fled from the crime-in-progress and into hiding.

Quick Note: Homecoming

Hey there, everyone.  I'm finally back home and am working hard to get life back to normal.

When I left for the hotel, I thought I'd only be gone at most a few days, but it's taken over two weeks to be able to get back in again.  I had (thankfully) purchased a good, inexpensive laptop to help keep me busy (and sane) while I was gone.  I loaded it up with digital backups of some of my DVD collection, comic books I'd been meaning to read (I now have quite a fondness for Booster Gold -- old and new series), and OpenOffice to get some writing done.

I wrote out a couple of rough stories that likely won't develop into anything substantial, an original superhero character, a lot of the remake of The Last Battle - Orc vs Man, and the bios and a few paragraphs for a new pro wrestling story set in the world and time of Ryan, Alexi, and Gorilla.  That one involves a wrestler from England and one from Italy.  I'm currently developing that one alongside Orc vs Man.

I also brought my Wacom with me and practiced drawing a bit.  My drawing skill is... not great!  Ever since I was a little stud, I've had more of a pull toward 3D art, though line art has always held a special place in my heart.

Quick Note: Headaches and Drywall

Hey there, everyone.  We're coming up on the weekend and I hope you guys are having a good one.

I had the volunteer mold inspector over today and his findings weren't good.  I'm going to have to clear out everything in my home, put it all in a portable storage unit in my yard, and then have the other volunteers come and rip out the walls and cabinets to be replaced.  While this demolition goes on, I'll have to stay at a hotel for a couple of days.  This is... quite a headache and not what I was hoping to have happen.

But yeah, I just wanted to make a note about this update and say that I'll talk with you guys again soon.  I have an idea for a quick couple of renders involving Superman and Batman, but I have to wait until I'm back to finish work on them.

Coming Soon: Barbarian vs Olympian PDF!

Hey, everyone!  I just wanted to give you a heads-up on a surprise adaptation I'm currently working on.  I'm working to adapt Barbarian vs Olympian to PDF.  In this version, however, Conan has tagged in another man to take his place.

Some of you might remember Talro, one of the men of Thordar who grew up with Tuskar.  I've given his model some updates and he's ready to assume the role of Barbarian in this tale.  The story and fight is mostly the same as the blog version, with some elements changed, remixed, or enhanced.

(Coincidentally: I had dominate Hercules in that Lux test a long time ago, too!)

It's been some months since the events of Tuskar the Barbarian: The Axe of Power, and Talro (who is mentioned briefly at the end of that story) has come to Greece in search of Tuskar.  The blond stud confronts Hercules, who he is sure knows something about Tuskar's whereabouts.  The bearded demigod recognizes the savage as trouble and demands he leave Greece and return home.

This adaption is coming along well and should be done sometime this coming week.  I'll have more info to share soon!

Barbarian vs Olympian

On the long dirt road that led to Thebes traveled Hercules, hero of men and son of Zeus, the king of the gods.  The halfgod was feeling particularly proud of himself that day.  He'd single-handedly wrestled and defeated a wild, massive boar that was terrorizing a rural village about a day's walk from Athens.  The meat from the beast would spare the villagers of starvation for weeks and help them strengthen their trade with their neighbors.  After receiving worship and adoration for his feat, the Olympian left the village.

  

Hercules bounced his pecs as he traversed the road to his next destination, his chest swelling with pride for himself.  With a bit of a surprise, the bearded demigod came to a complete stop.  There, in the middle of the road, was a giant boulder on the ground, blocking the way for merchants and travelers.

The muscular Greek glanced around for any clues as to where the rock had come from.  As there were no telltale signs of damage in the area, he ruled out a giant dropping it there.  He slapped the cold stone twice to verify its weight.  Knowing he couldn't leave the boulder there to inconvenience the mortals of Greece, Hercules decided to move it himself.

Barbarian vs Olympian: Teaser Update

Hey, everyone.  How're you all doing?

I've managed to get quite a bit of the flood damage cleaned up, all the while doing work on the story in my spare time.  I've finished the text and render work for the main story.  Now I just have the alternate ending to write and illustrate before it's complete.

Zeus was featured in the Hercules Wins version of the short tale (Post 1 and Post 2) and he'll be back in this full version, too.  Oh, and Herc's big bro, Ares, has a cameo appearance!  I hope you guys enjoy it.  It should be ready for posting in the next few days or so.

In the meantime, I thought I'd be an evil bastard and tease the title panel with this tiny little image of it.  Mweheheheh!
