Quick Note: Headaches and Drywall

Hey there, everyone.  We're coming up on the weekend and I hope you guys are having a good one.

I had the volunteer mold inspector over today and his findings weren't good.  I'm going to have to clear out everything in my home, put it all in a portable storage unit in my yard, and then have the other volunteers come and rip out the walls and cabinets to be replaced.  While this demolition goes on, I'll have to stay at a hotel for a couple of days.  This is... quite a headache and not what I was hoping to have happen.

But yeah, I just wanted to make a note about this update and say that I'll talk with you guys again soon.  I have an idea for a quick couple of renders involving Superman and Batman, but I have to wait until I'm back to finish work on them.

Take good care now, guys,
-Lucky

P.S. -- Thank you very much to everyone who bought the Barbarian vs Olympian PDF.  I really appreciate that and hope that you enjoyed it greatly!

  1. I am truly sorry for you. FEMA is helping you, right? My thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time.

    1. Thank you, Sean. *smiles* Yeah, I had to visit FEMA again and have them reassess the damage to include the cabinets (they didn't allot for them the first time they visited) and the doors. The mold inspector gave them his report, so that helped things along quite a bit.

  2. Thanks, I appreciate it. It's just a few more obstacles in the road until the finish line, unfortunately. D:

    1. Thanks, my friend. I had the worst headache I can remember today. So many things hitting me all at once. I'm making it through, though. This'll strengthen me, that's for sure.

    1. Thanks, man. I'm always happy and grateful for the well wishes from you guys. The clearing out is taking longer than I anticipated, but it's fine since I'm still waiting for a reassessment from FEMA and finalization on the contractor who'll put in the new drywall.

    1. The contractors are taking a lot longer than anticipated and Lucky is currently going stir-crazy in his hotel. Hopefully he'll be out and returning to regular operations in a few days though! His internet access is pretty spotty, too. (he did see your message though and asked me to respond on his behalf)
