About Barbaric Brawn

Barbaric Brawn is a gay, adult-oriented blog dedicated to my renders of muscular barbarians (and sometimes modern men) and their erotic battles with each other.

I opened this site because of my love of barbarian fantasy and sword and sandal movies of days gone by.  As a boy, I was enthralled by Arnold's Conan and the men of The Beastmaster, Deathstalker, Tarzan, and Hercules -- not to mention the animated musclemen of He-Man, Conan the Adventurer, and the like.

I'm inspired by the great artwork of two men I admire: my friend Art (Wildjuba / cacentcst) and John Savage (Jungle King Kazar).  Also such greats as Tom of Finland (one of my first gay art idols), Matt (Charles Kerbs), and the incomparable The Hun.  I admire the work (visual and written alike) of a countless number of talented individuals out there in a wide array of styles and mediums.  A big thank you to all of the artists and art lovers out there who have been kind enough to share it with the rest of us.

Although this art and these stories are all completely fictional, please be aware that I don't condone sex where the participants aren't willing.  It's all just an erotic fantasy and should always be considered as such.  Also, condoms, of course.

About Me

My name is Chris.

My avatar is a custom-made screenshot of two of my favorite fictional wrestlers (Biff Slamkovich and Gunloc) from Capcom's 1993 wrestling game: Saturday Night Slam Masters.  Gunloc's name in the Japanese version (Muscle Bomber) is Lucky Colt; my handle, Lucky Stallion, is modeled after that.

Since I was a boy, I've loved men, muscle, and wrestling -- and all three combined!

I'm fortunate to be able to bring my fantasies to life and to share them with you!  Thanks for stopping by Barbaric Brawn!

  1. Chris:

I "stumbled" onto your website while looking for images of Hercules. I must say that I'm impressed. I'll try to cum back here as often as I can.

  2. I must say, I like your work a lot. I too was interested in the "Sword and Sandal" movie genre. I was more into Steve Reeves and Gordon Scott. Others have since caught my eye. I would love to see your take on the "Hairy Chested" Zangief... but more in a slave-chained and tortured position. Just a thought. Keep up the great work. I now check on you every day and will continue to do so. Thanks

I love Zangief (one of my favorites in the Street Fighter series), but I don't think that I could do him justice. If I manage to get the chance in the future, though, I'll definitely give him a try.

I'd be honored to have my works posted at those places (I've been a member of AquadudeBunker for a long time now -- it's one of the greats). And yes, resizing is just fine with me. Thanks for being kind and asking beforehand. Very cool of you.

      Take care, man.

    2. Chris, Thank you. With any luck I will have the first series posted tomorrow. I picked "The Ax of Power" from your very first post. Reason is the viewers will have to check out your whole wonderful site.
My postings are on the attachment section at Aquadude.

    3. Chris, I hope the weekend treats you well. I finally got the images transfer to the Aquadudebunker site. I was having trouble with the transmition because I had embedded the link to this site. In order to send the art I had to delink and only type the name. Hoefully people can figure out how to get here. I did pick The Ax of Power and the series to show case your work

  5. Chris, i found this site through Mauleo's site...his Hercules art is awesome....this equals it...and more. Ive had a Hercules fetish since i was a kid-mighty muscled, bearded, worlds most powerful man. To see him getting outmuscled in wrestling matches is a dream come true...one picture stands out...Hercules facing Ares in his helmut...the incredible pecs and nipples on them! DAMN!! Looks so lifelike you can almost see the huge pecs and nipples pressing into the others as they move closer together..Ares muscles look just slightly bigger than Mighty Hercs...thicker chest...thicker traps. I would have loved to have seen Ares or Sergio full nelson big Hercules also. Do you ever take on commissioned work? I had some done for me privately of Hercules wrestling a bouncer-if you email me at bber39@msn.com i can show you. Once again...incredible man...more Hercules wrestling!!! Cheers Chris

  11. It's funny as far back as i can remember I've loved musclemen & seeing them fight; as a kid, from about 5 years old, I’d lull myself to sleep with images of "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff tussling with another shirtless muscle stud 1980's fight scene style. Oh, god, when 'The Barbarians' (starring Peter & David Paul) debuted on TV in the late 80's (i was 7 or 8)I was swept by a whole new fantasy (that first scene! YUM!). We have some of the same taste in artists. I'll have to check out "Jungle King Kazar" & "The Hun". Any info on where i can find their work? I love knowing a bit about those whose "footprints" i admire.

    1. I'm glad to hear that, man. When I was around that age, I used to love watching wrestling on TV whenever I could, and when it wasn't on, I would enjoy playing the video games with my cousin whenever we were together.

Ah! I remember that The Barbarians movie! I loved every minute they were on the screen. Those two were muscleheads through and through. That reminds me, I really need to buy that movie for my collection...

JKK used to have a blog (like me) and posted his work there. Unfortunately, he closed it down some time ago. He does still have a Yahoo group called Arena Island, but it's dedicated to celebrity wrestling and not the He-Man, Tarzan, superhero, and jungle art that I fell in love with. I'm hopeful that he'll decide to one day come back to sharing his work publicly again.

And as for The Hun (aka Bill Schmeling -- small bio here), it's difficult to find any one place that has his art. It's spread across a ton of Yahoo groups. Though, I did buy a book once from Amazon that houses a selection of his work. His stuff can be very intense and some of it I just can't really stand to look at. But the rest of it is awesome and exudes a raw masculinity that I have to respect him for having the guts to draw.

Hopefully that helps you out a bit! Aww, shucks. That's nice of you to say. :D

I'm working on a new Tarzan story right now, it should be ready to post sometime in January. As for Lortho, I did have an idea to remake The Last Battle, the story he's in, but that was put on hold for the time. I still plan to remake that story at some point, so keep a look out for it in the future.

    3. Saw your new Tarzan story - great story and artwork continues. Now I am really looking forward to the remake of The Last Battle with Lortho. I saw you story/one picture of Remgo Test. It would be better yet, I think. To have a complete (long ?) story with artwork of Lortho's beating by Remko?????? Also saw your sight with sales of keychains - coffee mugs - tshirts - etc. Looking good.

    4. Hey, thanks. I still plan to do the remake at some time in the future, but I don't have an estimate on when I'll get started on that.

I don't have any plans to expand that Remgo test with Lortho, that was just a test of his model. Thanks for your interest, though!

  21. Hello , I am your Italian fan. I know you are very busy, but i would like that you to invent an history with two charachters:

    a young and cocky fighter of 16 years, never defeated and arrogant;

a 50-year old fighter, who that defeat, humiliate and fuck the young champion on the ring, reversing the prediction.

What do you think about it?

    I greet you warmly.

    1. Hey there! Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it.

That's strange. I checked on another system of mine and everything in that range and forward seems to load fine on my end. It may be a temporary problem, or you could try clearing the page's cache with Ctrl + F5 (or Cmd + R or Cmd + F5 on Mac) to see if that fixes it right away.

Sorry to hear that it's giving you trouble! Hopefully that clears up soon.

I have steadily increased the sizes of my guys' groins, but it does get difficult to go too much further with tearing of the meshes and all. I'll see what I can do going forward with that.

I've looked at your patreon option; I download all the PDFs from Lulu and have been through all the blog entries. What extra would I get from a $1 donation and $5 donation in an average month? Would it mainly be larger images of stuff I will see on the blog or will I get unique images(roughly how many if so)? Also, does the monthly donation give access to previous patreon work?

    1. The Bronze ($1) tier gets small (usually around or less than 10 images) packs/sets, while the Silver ($5) gets bigger sets (usually around 20 panels.) I also post my PDFs to the Silver tier as they become available, as thanks to the supporters there.

I post nearly everything from my Patreon to the blog over time, though there have been a few things I have not -- for various reasons. And everything is much higher resolution there (3000 pixels wide for the 16:9 stories, versus 1600 wide at this blog.)

And yes, all of my posts from the very beginning are still there to access. :)

Thanks greatly for your support and interest!
